IIM-Visakhapatnam Summer Placements 2022 | 75% Rise In Highest CTC At INR 3.5 Lakhs

Indian Institute of Management- Visakhapatnam has completed the Summer Placements for the 2023 MBA batch which saw all the students getting internship offers from domestic and global firms. More than 60 companies across different sectors participated in the placement drive with IT/ ITeS emerging on top with 27% hiring.

The highest CTC in the IIM-Visakhapatnam Summer Placements reached INR 3.5 Lakhs - an impressive 75% increase from 2021. The average CTC, on the other hand, stood at INR 57,000.

IIM-Visakhapatnam Summer Placements - Highlights

• IIM-Visakhapatnam summer placements are held on a rolling basis every year. 
• In 2022, the summer placements at IIM-Visakhapatnam saw the participation of both new and existing recruiters. 
• 80% of the batch comprised fresh graduates. 
• While IT/ITeS emerged as the top recruiting sector, it was closely followed by BFSI, Consulting, Manufacturing, and Ed-tech.

The chair professor of Career Development Services (CDS) at IIM Vizag, Prof. Deepika Gupta, commended the achievements of the students and thanked all the associated bodies at the institute for making sure that the students received the best possible offers.

Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, the director of IIM-Visakhapatnam was full of praise for the students for the placement numbers they achieved despite the Covid 19 pandemic. According to him, overcoming challenges is essentially a way of life for IIM-Vizag students, and nothing less is expected from them.
