Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 For Short Service Commission Officers, Salary INR 56k+

Indian Navy has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Short Service Commission for a course commencing January 2024 onwards at the Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online on or before May 14, 2023. Following are the details.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2023: Vacancies

A total of 242 vacancies of Short Sevice Commission Officers will be filled through the recruitment drive. The break-up is as follows:

Indian Navy Recruitment 2023: Eligibility

The following candidates are eligible to apply:

Candidates who have graduated/post-graduated or are in the final year with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. OR
Have a graduation degree in Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA/System from a recognized college/ institution.
Candidates in the final year with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

Shortlisting of applications will be based on normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalized using decided formulae.
For BE/B Tech. candidates who have completed or are in the final year, marks obtained up to the fifth semester will be considered for SSB shortlisting.
For candidates who have completed MSc, MCA, MBA, and M.Tech, marks obtained in all semesters will be considered. For candidates who are in the final year, shortlisting will be based on pre-final year performance.
