The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) comes under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It is the responsibility of this department to being about growth in the industrial sector by formulating and implementing developmental as well as promotional measures. They do this in keeping with the nation's socio-economic objectives and national priorities. And you too can be a part of this journey to achieve its goals, with the DPIIT internship 2023 program. 

DPIIT Internship 2023: Details

The primary objective of the internship is to provide students exposure to the work culture of the Indian Government and also policy formulation & implementation.

• The internship program runs throughout the year.
• The duration of the internship can vary from 1-3 months, as per the requirements of the applications.
• The stipend provided will be INR 10,000 per month.
• A total of 20 interns will be chosen at any given time.

DPIIT Internship 2023: Eligibility

The program is open for graduate students, post-graduate students, and research scholars enrolled in a recognized university/ institution, within India or abroad.  

The eligible domains are:

• Engineering (all branches)
• Management
• Computers
• Economics
• Law
• Finance
• Library Management

Note- Candidates from other domains can apply, but they will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

DPIIT Internship 2023: How To Apply

Those who are interested in the internship program must:

• The application mode is ONLINE only.
• Visit the official website and signup with the portal.
• Fill out the application form to the best of your knowledge.
• You must indicate in clear terms, your areas of interest and period of engagement.

Note- While the DPIIT internship program runs year-round, a candidate can apply only once in a financial year. And the application will be considered for the financial year it is made in.
