Now, with 200+ universities participating in CUET, the number of registrations is bound to increase for CUET 2024.
NTA (National Testing Agency) has announced that CUET 2024 will take place in May 2024 for UG courses and in March 2024 for PG Courses.

What is CUET?

CUET, or Common University Entrance Test, is a unified entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various universities across India. With CUET, students can appear for a single entrance exam and apply to multiple universities through a common platform, rather than having to take multiple exams for each institution.
Registrations for CUET 2024 for postgraduate courses are already open. Interested candidates can register through the official site. Registrations for CUET 2024 for undergraduate courses are expected to open in February 2024.
Why is CUET Important?
CUET has revolutionized the admission process into undergraduate and postgraduate courses in India, and has several benefits, namely:
- Reduced burden: Students take one exam instead of multiple university-specific tests.
- Wider choice: Access to a broader range of universities and programs.
- Level playing field: Standardizes admission process across central universities.
- Transparency and merit: Objective tests and standardized scoring promote a fair selection process.
