TCS NQT stands for the National Qualifier Test conducted by Tata Consulting Services. There are three variants of the exam, including the TCS NQT BFSI exam. The TCS NQT BFSI exam assesses applicants for roles in the Banking and Financial Services Industry. 

The upcoming TCS NQT BFSI exams will be conducted on January 14, 2024, February 14, 2024, and March 8, 2024. The last date to apply for the January exam is January 2, 2024. 

The TCS NQT BFSI exam is conducted every two to four weeks and applications close 10-15 days before the exams. The TCS NQT BFSI exam will be conducted by the TCS iON platform for all the rounds.

The duration for TCS NQT-BFSI is 180 minutes and the Maximum Marks are 140. Here’s the breakup:

  • There is no negative marking.
  • All tests are conducted in English. 
  • The TCS NQT does not have a minimum cut-off or pass/fail criteria. 
  • The TCS NQT BFSI Scorecards are valid for 2 years.

Important: Candidates can reappear for TCS NQT BFSI to secure a better score. Only the best score will be published for candidates applying using the same registration number. 

TCS NQT: How to Apply

Here are the step-by-step instructions for applying to the TCS NQT BFSI exam: 

  1. On the TCS NQT BFSI page, click on either of the two options - Buy Now or Activate Now. 
  2. If you’re already registered, you can directly log in. If not, you will need to register/sign up as a new user.
  3. Complete the registration by providing required details, such as name, email ID, contact details, etc. 
  4. Once you’ve provided the required information, you will receive a successful registration message on your registered email ID/mobile number.
  5. The assessment will be conducted ONLY In-Centre at TCS iON Authorised Exam Centres. You will receive the Hall Ticket on your email ID, 2 days prior to the assessment.

TCS NQT: Eligibility Criteria & Last Date to Apply

The TCS NQT BFSI exam can help candidates land a job as a data analyst, financial analyst, auditor, and more with an average salary range of ₹2.5 L.P.A - ₹11 L.P.A. If you wish to apply for the TCS NQT BFSI exam, then take a look at the eligibility criteria: 

  • Pre-final or final-year students of any stream or degree (UG, PG and Diploma)
  • Freshers with less than 2 years of experience
  • Candidates who have passed out in the year 2018-2024, with a degree and specialisation
  • Age limit: 
    • Minimum 17 years 
    • Maximum 30 years

After taking the test, the results i.e. the final score will be shared on the candidate’s registered email ID provided at the time of the application.
