Infosys is an IT MNC that was founded in July 1981 in Pune by seven founders- N.R. Narayan Murthy, Nandan Nilekani, S.D. Shibulal, S. Gopalakrishnan, N.S. Raghavan, Ashok Arora, and K. Dinesh. The company is presently headquartered in Bengaluru and provides business consulting, outsourcing, and information technology services. Infosys is the dream of many IT and non-IT professionals to be a part of the company with many aspirants preparing specifically for cracking the Infosys interview process. 

Infosys Recruitment Process: Quick Overview

Infosys filters around 80% of the applicants. Hence the selection process is quite stringent. Following is the minimum eligibility for the Infosys interview process:

  • Grade point average or GPA of 60% or above in Class 10th and 12th
  • More than 6 CGPA in BCA, B.Tech, B.E, or allied sciences

Before we get into the type of Infosys aptitude questions that are commonly asked, the following is the summary of rounds conducted in the Infosys recruitment process: 

1. Online Assessment Test

The candidates who are eligible need to clear the first round, which has these sections:

  • Logical Analytical Reasoning - This section includes data interpretation, syllogism, visual reasoning, coding, decoding, and analogy. The difficulty level of this round varies from easy to moderate. A word of caution here is that Infosys mathematical ability paper is not a cakewalk. In fact, Infosys Quantitative Test is a benchmark for getting placed in other companies as well. So prepare properly.
  • Quantitative Aptitude - You need to study many topics from Mathematics like probability, time and speed, permutations and combinations, ratio and proportions, and percentages. The difficulty level of this section varies from moderate to hard.
  • Verbal Ability - Synonyms and antonyms, Paragraph completion, jumbled sentences, sentence correction, sentence completion. The difficulty level of this section is easy to moderate.

2. Technical Round

Candidates have to answer technical questions based on some fundamental concepts. As a computer engineer or computer administrator, you need to know:

  • Algorithms and data structures
  • At least one programming language out of C++, Java, Python
  • Computer Networking, OS, OOPS, DBMS,
  • Problem-solving
  • Coding aptitude questions
  • Aptitude test questions and Puzzles
  • New technologies in your interest domain

Questions might be asked about your past professional experiences including your internship roles and how you contributed to them.

3. HR Interview Round

The HR interviewers will see whether your personality suits the role you have applied for. There will be questions about your skills, hobbies, reasons to apply for the position, educational background, and what you expect to gain out of this position.

the answer for both 37 and 38 is wrong in 37 you are giving answer for when the percentage is 65 and in 38 it should be 20:1 instead of 200:1
