Government of Israel Scholarship

The first on the list is the scholarship by the Israeli government. The government has launched a scholarship of up to USD 12,000 for Indian students who want to study in Israel in agreement with the Indian government. The scholarship is present under 3 different slabs. 

The three types of scholarships rolled out by the government are as follows:

What is the eligibility for Indian students to avail themselves of the scholarship?

  • The student must fulfill the academic requirement of universities across Israel to apply
  • The student should have a BA or BSc degree (or higher) in addition to a strong academic record
  • The applicant must be a citizen of India
  • The applicant must be under 35 years at the beginning of the academic year
  • Citizens of Israel are not eligible to apply for this scholarship
  • Scholarship recipients must get an A2 student visa from the Israeli embassy to file their application
  • Language fluency in English or Hebrew is required

What is the last date to apply for the scholarship?

The Israeli government will be accepting the applications till December 30, 2021.

Royal Thai Government Scholarship

Royal Thai government scholarship is given to students from Thailand and other Asian countries with phenomenal academic qualifications. The management of the scholarship is done by the Asian Institute of Technology.

The scholarship is available for Masters and Doctoral programs under various slabs.

Orange Tulip Scholarship

The third on this list of scholarships is the Orange Tulip Scholarship. It gives talented students in several Neso countries the opportunity to study in the Netherlands. The Netherlands Education Support Office (NESOS) manages and promotes this scholarship. India is also one of the countries which come under the Neso countries.

Students from over 7 countries compete to get admission in 18 universities, which are a part of the Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme, in the Netherlands.

What is the eligibility for Indian Students to avail themselves of the scholarship?

  • Be a citizen of China, India, Indonesia, South Africa, Korea, Russia, or Vietnam
  • Not possess a diploma from a Dutch educational institution
  • Not be studying or working in the Netherlands at the time
  • Be accepted or in the process of being accepted to a study program or course at one of the Dutch higher education institutions participating in OTS

Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship

MEXT scholarship is for the students who want to go for higher students to Japan. This scholarship program aims to bring the best human resources from India to Japan as international students to foster mutual understanding and strengthen Japan's educational and research capabilities.

The management of this scholarship is done through the Japanese Embassy, Consulates in India, or institutions of higher education in Japan.

  • The candidate must be from a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan
  • The candidate must be less than 44 years of age
  • Candidates must possess an appropriate degree to which are required as per different programs

Alliance of International Science Organisations (ANSO) Scholarship

ANSO scholarship is meant for those students who want to do their Master's or Ph.D. in China. Its main objective is to train and cultivate young scientists from all over the world.

ANSO is a fully-funded scholarship providing tuition fees, flight tickets, health insurance, and a competitive monthly stipend.

What is the eligibility for Indian students to avail themselves of the scholarship?

  • Not be a Chinese citizen
  • Provide proof of English or Chinese language proficiency
  • Master's applications must be at least 30 years old (born after January 1, 1992 – inclusive).
  • Applicants to the Ph.D. program should be born on or after January 1, 1987 (inclusive)
  • Meet the USTC/UCAS foreign admissions criteria
  • During the time of their scholarship, they must not take on any other duties
