Assam Girl's Foolproof Strategy To A Perfect Score In JEE Mains 2022
The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently declared the results for JEE Mains 2022, session 1. The Joint Entrance Exam or JEE is one of the most widely conducted competitive examinations in India. Every year lakhs of students wait for these exams with bated breath in hopes of securing a spot in India’s premier engineering colleges. The same was the case for Sneha Pareek, a student from Assam who appeared for the JEE Mains 2022.
Given that JEE is an important gateway to a career in engineering, with limited seats up for grabs, the results are bittersweet for the masses. But for Sneha, they were the answer to all her prayers. With the declaration of the results, Sneha shot to fame as the only girl to get the 100 percentile this year. And the 2nd girl to ever get the perfect score in the history of JEE Mains!
We are sure a lot of sweat, hard work, and time led her to this monumental feat. Let’s have a look at her inspiring journey.
There Are No Shortcuts To Any Place Worth Going
Sneha always knew that she wanted to pursue a career in engineering, and was dedicated to cracking the JEE. She got enrolled in a coaching center in Guwhati to prepare for the exams.
In an interview with NDTV, Sneha said that she did not follow any online platforms/ tutorials. Instead, she focused on the notes and guidance provided by the institute and relied on self-study the most. She studied a total of 12-13 hours/day of which 6-7 hours were earmarked for JEE. Over the course of 2 years, she studied these notes and referred to books like HC Verma, DK Goel, Sudarshan Guha, and SL Loney.
Sneha’s approach to preparing for JEE Mains was- being well-organized, focused, and dedicated. And the confidence she had in her abilities clearly showed in the results. But this is not the end of hard work for her, there is still a long way to go.
Dedication And Commitment Are What Make Dreams Come True
Sneha was confident that she will get a good score in JEE Mains and started her preparation for JEE Advanced the very next day after her Mains examination. Sneha hopes to perform well in JEE Advance, and pursue Computer Science engineering at IIT Bombay. However, if she is unable to get into her dream college, Sneha would opt for other IITs rather than taking a gap year and re-appearing for exams next year.
This is the epitome of dedication and commitment toward one's goal. We hope her hard work inspires many other aspirants like her to achieve their goals.
