JoSAA Counselling 2023 Registration Begins: How To Register & Direct Link

The JoSAA Counselling 2023 registrations opened on June 19, 2023, and candidates who’ve cleared the JEE Mains and/or JEE Advanced can apply for it online. Candidates can register for the counselling process online, through the JoSAA website.

JoSAA stands for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. Set up by the Ministry of Education, JoSAA 2023 aims to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. These 118 institutes include 23 IITs and 31 NITs, among others. Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

The JEE Advanced 2023 results were released on June 18, 2023. A total of 1,80,372 candidates took the examination this year, of which 43,773 qualified. This year, Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy from the IIT Hyderabad zone topped the JEE Advanced 2023. He scored 341 out of 360.

JoSAA Counselling 2023: How To Register

Eligible candidates can apply for the JoSAA Counselling 2023 process online, through the official website. Here’s how you can register for the process:

Go to the JoSAA official website: josaa.nic.in
Under Admission Services on the page, click on Registration and Choice Filling. This will redirect you to the registration page.
On the registration page, add the following details:

JEE (Main) Application Number: Candidates who only applied for JEE (Advanced) 2023 can use JEE (Advanced) 2023 Application details
Password: This is the same as the password for JEE(Advanced) 2023 or JEE(Main) 2023 password (please use the password and application number of the same exam)
Security Pin (or captcha): It’s case sensitive

After registering, complete the counselling form and upload the required documents.

Candidates can register using JEE (Main) 2023 Application No.
For candidates who only registered for JEE (Advanced) 2023, the login ID for JEE (Advanced) 2023 is to be used as the Application No
If candidates use JEE (Main) 2023 application no, then the password will be the JEE (Main) 2023 password. If candidates have registered using JEE (Advanced) 2023, then the password will be the JEE (Advanced) password.
