Late-night business school assignments with a rush of caffeine -By Deepak J Vyas from SIBM Hyderabad
MBA aspirants are always high on caffeine. Be it a filtered coffee overflowing with milky froth from a roadside tea stall or the one from an expensive posh café and bistro, you need caffeine-rush to keep your thoughts flowing. More than the “adrenaline rush” it is the “caffeine rush” that restores our mental energy. So here is how I completed late-night business school assignments with a rush of caffeine.
Late-night business school assignments and a cup of coffee
Late-night assignments, project-work, and extracurricular activities suck the juices out of students. But, this brown crushed beans of coffee manages to give a certain kind of push to go the extra mile. During the tough times, you get attached to many things which you comes in the form of obsession, addiction, dependence, love, etc. The aroma of the crushed and powdered coffee beans in the boiling water has a cleansing effect on our mind. The romantic gesture of heart shapes in the latte and other espressos bring so many emotions. Some like it shrouded in milk, while some like it in the dark form.
'Coffee Addas' and tiring lectures
Every college has its own coffee points where students come and consume several cups in a day. Be it the early-morning coffee before breakfast or the evening coffee post-lectures, the caffeine is a necessary evil. However, my college has a mess with a special “Coffee Adda”, where students stand huddled with a cup of coffee is everybody’s hand, discussing relevant and non-relevant stuff. Such coffee points are created by students and their love for coffee.
Coffee holds a special place in the hearts of MBA students, who consume it like corporate workers who are addicted to coffee to deal with stress. It is an ultimate source of relaxation, rejuvenation, and romance. But have you ever wondered why do we crave for it? Why are we addicted to it?
A lot can happen over coffee
Coffee acts like an introspecting device, which reduces tension to a great extent. Taking about bonding, relationships, judgment, competitions, and other personal problems, we sometimes lose ourselves. We forget who we are and feel lost. In order to overcome our insecurities and problems, we often resort to our favorite songs, a movie, a book, and a cup of coffee.
The flow of caffeine activates our unconscious mind where you feel alive. Coffee brings a smile on our faces and helps us get back on the right track. As Café Coffee Day says “A lot can happen over coffee”. Indeed, life can take unpredictable turns with a cup of coffee.
