L&T Scholarship Worth INR 3.2 Lakh; Get PG Degree From IITs/NITs

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) is back with their Build India Scholarship program for final-year B.Tech/B.E. students. The students are offered a two-year, fully sponsored M.Tech course in Construction Technology & Management at IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, NIT Surathkal, and NIT Trichy.

L&T scholarship details

The L&T Build India Scholarship will provide a stipend of INR 3,21,600 over a period of 24 months. The stipend will be disbursed on a monthly basis, in which the students will get INR 13,400 every month. L&T will bear the entire course fees, which will be transferred directly to the respective colleges by the company. The candidates will be responsible for their own lodging and meals. 

The selected candidate will also be given a chance to work on live projects at the L&T project site during the course of the programme. 

The candidates are required to submit an undertaking for a value of INR 5 lakhs. The undertaking states that the candidates will have to successfully complete the course and work with the company for 5 years thereafter.  

Who can apply?

The scholarship is open only to B.Tech/B.E. final-year students who are expected to complete their graduation in June-August 2023. They should have a graduation degree in core Civil Engineering and core Electrical disciplines. Students from other disciplines and those who graduated in 2022 or before are not eligible to apply. 

L&T Build India Scholarship: Application Steps 

Follow the steps below to complete the application process of L&T Build India Scholarship:

1. Register yourself at this link and create a login ID and password. 
2. Fill out the application using the login credentials.
3. Upload all the documents, which may include your certificates, photographs, and valid photo identity proofs. 

The last date for completing the online application is February 28, 2023. 

Dates and Deadlines

The shortlisted candidates will appear for a written test on March 19, 2023. Later, they would be invited for an interview between April-May, 2023. Finally, the selected candidates will receive their sponsorship letters between May-June 2023. 

Important Points

Aspiring candidates should keep certain points in mind while applying for the L&T Build India Scholarship. 

1. The details in the application form should be accurate, without any discrepancy. 
2. The date and year of birth must be correct. 
3. The phone number and the email ID details must be correct. 
4. While uploading the marks, do not enter the CGPA. The candidates should convert the CGPA on a scale of 10 and then into an aggregate percentage (%). 
5. Keep the scanned copies of important documents with you at the time of filling out the application form. 
6. Carefully note the unique ID or application number. It would be used in all official communication related to the scholarship.
