Manufacturing sector dominates XAHR Final Placements 2020
Owing to its origin to XIMB’s HR specialization program, XAHR has always been successful in providing highly productive and skilled professionals in the human resources field. It imparts a comprehensive understanding of business, society and government through its organized curriculum developed by stalwarts from academia and industry. The greatest examples of their talent pool can be seen at their final placements. Here are the main highlights of XAHR Final Placements 2020 for the MBA-HR batch.

- Median CTC: INR 12.09 LPA
- Number of participating students: 124
- Number of participating recruiters: 57
Among the participating students, around 41 percent were freshers and out of 57 recruiters, 24 were new to pitch in the XAHR Final Placements 2020. Some of the corporate sharks include IBM, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, UltraTech, Godrej & Boyce, ICICI Bank, and Société Générale.
The statistics show that the average and median of the top 50 percent offers stood at INR 15.05 LPA and at INR 14.60 LPA respectively.
Sector-wise split up of XAHR Final Placements 2020
The Manufacturing sector emerged as the most sought-after for the MBA-HR batch at XAHR, with 27 percent of the batch opting for roles with companies in this sector. The IT/ITES sector emerged as the next most popular sector, with 24 percent of the batch joining companies in this sector.
BFSI/Finance and General Management
BFSI and Finance conglomerates like Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL), Gili India Limited, ICICI, Société Générale and BASIX Sub-K provided top-level roles to the students whereas TATA Power, Delhivery and Manipal group rolled out various offers catering to the General Management sector.
IT and Consultancy
IT and Consultancy being the most sought-after sector stood second in terms of recruiting students. Capgemini, Infosys, DELL, Hexaware, IBM, Deloitte, Cognizant, Darwinbox, Vito India and Tech Mahindra dominated the hiring of students in this domain.
Manufacturing and FMCG
Manufacturing accounted for the maximum number of offers. A large number of coveted offers were given by Manufacturing firms including Aarti Industries, DFPCL, GMR Group, Hindalco, JK Paper, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, SeedWorks International, TATA Advanced Systems, TATA Steel, UltraTech, Dhariwal Infrastructure, GAIL, Gopalpur Port and Vedanta Limited. Some FMCG companies like ITC, Adani Wilmar, Mehsana Dudhsagar and Godrej & Boyce also pitched in the final placement session.
