In a move to promote young talent, Microsoft has launched the 'Future Ready Talent' program, a virtual internship opportunity for undergraduates and fresh graduates. This program aims to enable students to solve business challenges and create innovative solutions using the power of Microsoft Azure & GitHub tools.
This internship program is a collaborative effort by various companies: Microsoft, GitHub, Ernst & Young (EY), Quess and Future Skills Prime. Different services will be handled by different companies as given below:
- Microsoft will provide the learning modules and certifications to students. Learning modules will deal with trending concepts such as cloud computing, data, AI, and cybersecurity.
- EY will take care of the technological services and provide mentorship to students.
- GitHub will provide free access to GitHub Student Developer Pack.
- Quess Corp will provide students with an opportunity to showcase their skillset through virtual fairs.
- The AICTE will help to ensure that the curriculum is aligned to the National Education Policy(NEP), 2020.
- SSC Nasscom will ensure that the relevant courses are aligned with National Occupational Standards and it will link these courses on Future Skills Prime.
