Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Invites Online Applications for 33 Young Professionals

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MOI&B) as per its official notification invites online applications from interested and eligible candidates for 33 Young Professional posts. The selected candidates will work in various regional offices of the Press Information Bureau (PIB). The recruitment will be on a contract for one year which is extendable up to 3 years.

MOI&B is a ministerial-level agency of the Government of India given the responsibility for formulating and administrating laws and rules with a specific focus on information, broadcasting, the press, and cinema production.

Young Professional Selection Process

The selection for the young professionals in MOI&B will follow the two procedures as mentioned below:

The selection of Young Professionals shall be made in accordance with the provisions contained in GFR 2017.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting may conduct a written test if there is a large number of applicants. The test will carry a weightage of 70% of the total marks.
