List Of Scholarships In Monaco
1. International University Of Monaco Scholarships
The International University of Monaco is the only university in the city-state of Monaco. There are multiple scholarship programs in place to study at this institute in which each recipient can get between 1000 Euros to 5000 Euros.
These are strictly merit-based scholarships and the financial needs of the students are not considered.
2. Monaco Govt. Study Awards
Monaco Govt provides study awards to students who are pursuing a diploma at a Monaco-based institute. It will cover between 40% to 100% of the tuition fee of the diploma program. The details of the program under this scholarship scheme can be found on Monaco's Ministry of Youth, Education and Sports website.
Another (separate) scholarship is awarded to students who are living far from home or coming from a foreign country. According to the official classification, these students fall in the 'independent household' category. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must be doing a part-time job for up to 15 hours a week.
3. Monaco Govt Scholarship Grants
This scholarship is also offered by the Ministry of Youth, Education and Sports for students who are going to a foreign country to take up a language course. The minimum age to be eligible for this scholarship is 11 years and must be enrolled in a school or higher education institution. 4. Papyrus Association Scholarships
This is a private scholarship that provides scholarships and support to students who are studying in Monaco. There are multiple scholarships under the Papyrus foundation in different fields, such as research, health & medicine, computer science, engineering, digital sciences, mass communication, politics & law, and management studies.
5. Monaco Foundation Awards
Monaco foundation awards are given by Prince Albert II of Monaco to support research in environmental sciences and sustainability. Students and researchers working in this area can apply for this grant. The aim of giving this scholarship is to create awareness on climate change, especially in underdeveloped countries. A total of 20 awards in total are available under this scheme.
Do you need an English Proficiency Test To Study In Monaco?
Yes, you will be required to qualify for the IELTS exam to be eligible for academic programs in Monaco. Along with TOEFL, DET, and CAEL scores are also accepted. Note that all the courses at Monaco-based academic institutions are taught in English.
