My internship journey as a content writer -By Gaganpreet Kaur from Punjabi University
Working as a content writing intern was a great learning experience for me and that too in the city of Bangalore. It was my first-ever exposure in the corporate world. During my short tenure, I learnt the skill of surviving in a stressful corporate environment. I am Gaganpreet Kaur, an MBA student at Punjabi University, Patiala. Here is my internship journey as a content writer.
The transition from college to office
Notably, this transition from college to work-life requires one to rearrange the flow of thoughts and be more focused. Likewise, it was hard for me to make adjustments to the working protocol. Besides work, I loved the natural landscape and the people of Bangalore. However, the heavy traffic and the mosquitos are something you can't ignore.
Initially, it was not easy to go back to college and leave the city. However, adjusting to college life was quite simple from work life. Spending time with friends was always better than meeting the corporate targets. After the internship, you only get a few months to spend quality time with your batchmates and make memories. The last year of college was all about studying and submitting reports.
Things I learned during the internship phase
During my journey as a content writer, I learned about work management and other technical procedures. However, I hardly got time to be at leisure due to the workload and the fear of deadlines. So, ultimately it was a great professional ride for me, but I missed my college days more than anything. This cannot be compared with hanging out with your friends and bunking lectures. However, it took me some time to get back to the same schedule. Now I am planning to move in a more judicious manner. I will not waste my time sitting alone in my room. Life is too short, so spend it with your friends because college is the best part of your life.
