A Decade of Digital India - Reel Contest

To mark a decade of the Digital India initiative, citizens across the country are invited to participate in the ‘A Decade of Digital India – Reel Contest.’ This national-level contest offers a chance for individuals to creatively share how Digital India has impacted their lives.

From easy access to government services and digital education to advancements in healthcare and financial tools, technology has reshaped lives. This contest encourages participants to create and submit a 1-minute reel capturing their personal journey of digital empowerment.

Whether it's using platforms like UMANG, DigiLocker, BHIM UPI, or eHospital, or experiencing the benefits of digital payments, governance, or entrepreneurship — every story counts.

Objective Behind the Contest

The initiative aims to celebrate the success of the Digital India programme, which has:

• Transformed public service delivery
• Enhanced digital infrastructure
• Brought government services closer to citizens

Through these reels, MyGov hopes to capture the real voices of people and showcase how digital inclusion has truly empowered communities over the last ten years.

How to Participate?

To take part in the contest, follow these simple steps:

Create a 1-minute reel highlighting how Digital India has positively impacted your life.

Choose from themes like:

• Accessibility of public services
• Experiences with platforms like UMANG, DigiLocker, BHIM UPI, eHospital
• Impact on education, healthcare, digital payments, entrepreneurship
• A family or community story of digital transformation

Submission Guidelines

• Participant must be an Indian citizen
• Reel duration: 1 minute
• Must be in portrait mode, of high resolution, and in MP4 format
• Original content only, not previously published on any public platform
• Language: English, Hindi, or any regional language (preferably with captions)

• Top 10 winners: INR 15,000 each
• Next 25 winners: INR 10,000 each
