Technology: the highest-paying sector | SCMHRD Pune Placement Report 2019

SCMHRD Pune placement closed the curtains on a satisfying placement season this year. It again proved its mettle as one of the leading business institutions in the country with a lot of opportunities to offer its students and the incoming companies. The short report below captures the essence and the important details of it.

• The highest CTC offered was 38.5 LPA.

• The average CTC offered was 15.6 LPA.

• The median CTC offered was 14.1 LPA.

• Apart from old recruiters returning, new associations and chapters with ABFRL, Becton Dickinson, Essar, Google, Honeywell, Raymond, and others were also forged.

Highest package sector wise

The top 10% of the batch received a CTC of 27.3 LPA. The top 20% received CTC of 24 LPA whereas the top 50% received CTC of 19 LPA.

Last year, the top 10% of the batch received a CTC of 23.3 LPA. The top 20% received CTC of 21.08 LPA whereas the top 50% received CTC of 17 LPA.

Hence, cumulatively, the batch fared very well.

As is clear, FMCG was the highest-paying sector last year as opposed to the Technology sector this year. Consulting companies offered a minimum salary this year, too.
