A total vacancies of 155 for the posts of junior field engineers and junior field officers have been released by the joint venture recruitment of the Govt of India & Himachal Pradesh (HP), SJVN.
SJVN, which was formerly called the Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam, is well well-known Indian public sector (PSU) undertaking that is known for its hydroelectric power generation and transmission across the country. It currently works in 13 states in India. SJVN also has venture under-construction projects in hydroelectricity in two neighboring countries of India namely Nepal & Bhutan.

There shall be relaxations and concessions for SC/ST/Physically Challenged other specific reserved categories against reserved posts as per the official notification of the recruitment.

Joint Venture Recruitment SJVN: Selection Process
The selection process will be through a Computer Based Test (CBT). Those candidates who are provisionally shortlisted will be called for document verification. Related information on the test and application status can be accessed through candidate login at the SJVN online application system or through a registered email ID.
The CBT will be in two parts:

Minimum qualifying marks in CBT shall be 40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates & 50% for others.
The engagement of the candidate is purely temporary in nature & on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 years.
General/EWS and OBC category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 300 + GST. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from the payment of the Application Fee.
