IIM Indore summer placement drive saw its biggest ever batch placed with a highest stipend of INR 4 Lakhs

For the biggest IIM in terms of batch strength, this edition of the IIM Indore summer placement drive was the perfect stage to showcase their talent to some of the best and sought after firms across multiple industries.

The 589 strong batch of 2019-21 boasts of a strong 44% female core receiving a 24% higher stipend than their male counterparts. The key highlights are shown below:

Sales & Marketing

This sector bagged the majority of the internships offered to the students standing at an impressive 31%. Aditya Birla Fashion Fashion Retail , Nestle, GSK and L’Oreal were some of the prominent names present here.

BFSI

Major recruiters such as HSBC, Edelweiss and State Street came offering profiles of Asset Management, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and Equity Research among others. Investment banks showed up here as well participating with full vigour rounding up the sector's percentage to 21% out of all internships offered. JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank were some prominent names present.

Analytics & E-Commerce

Also grabbing 21% of the share of offers, profiles such as Operations and Product Management roles were on the table. Amazon, Google and Walmart Labs were some of the major recruiters in this sector.

Consulting

Boston Consulting Group, Bain Capability Network and Deloitte USI were some of the prominent names in this sector offering internships which totalled 17% of the entire bunch.

General Management

Industry leaders such as Reliance Industries and Mahindra Group seeked out candidates for General Management roles. This sector captured a 10% share of all offers that went out.

With a 160+ total recruiters flooding the campus along with 39 first timers, this edition of the IIM Indore summer placement drive was certainly a big success and promises to grow with each passing year.
