It didn’t take a lot of time for me to think who that one person in my batch is. One of a kind, I have never seen a personality like his before. It took me quite some time to understand that people like him do exist. He is the only person capable of building friendly relations with the entire batch of 184 students, the only one who can chit-chat, eat and study with any of them with the same level of comfort. Such selfless personalities are a rarity. An ideal hero of IFMR in all respects, read further only if you’d like to believe this story!

What’s unique about his personality?

He treats everyone equally and always carries a smile on his glowing face. He has a humble attitude towards everybody, be it his batchmate, a worker, his teacher, his junior or a senior.

He ensures that he is empathetic towards people so that they are comfortable to even share their secrets. Be it studies, shopping, bringing things from the market, going to doctor, buying inventory items, arranging events, talking to faculties and management, or anything else, help from him is always a call away.

He is vivacious and a polite person. Even if he does not have a solution to the problem, he is ever ready to listen to them all and give relevant advices, if any. He is the one who selflessly makes attempts at spreading happiness in people’s lives. He likes greeting everybody with a smile. Asking random questions is his way of building a positive strand of connection with everybody.

Deep-rooted values

He acknowledges his parents when addressing his own values and admits that he has turned into a better human because of them. He also likes mentioning his days from graduation, when his Engineering batch mates would make a single large group, instead of numerous small groups. This is why he likes being a part of every group in addition to befriending everybody.

An inspiration

It was his birthday when the entire batch thought of giving him back a piece of what he has shared with us all – happiness. All of us united at midnight and gave him a birthday surprise, at 12 sharp. We all wanted to thank him for the light he has spread in our lives.

An inspiration for us all, he has won our hearts like nobody else. The impact he has left on our lives is tremendous, everybody now to tries to imbibe his style. His kind behaviour and selfless attitude has made me learn the art of connecting with and caring for people. Where everybody agrees that they’ll never forget him their entire life, I’d just like to say one line: He is the real, ideal hero of IFMR.
