It’s been firmly established that the UPSC Exam, i.e. the Union Public Service Commission Examination, is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. The UPSC Results 2023 were released today. Here’s a look at the top ten rank holders:

As the table indicates, half of the top ten positions were bagged by female candidates. However, the streak of female toppers ended this year. Women had emerged as UPSC toppers for two years in a row (2021 and 2022).
Aditya Srivastava, who secured AIR 1, had been preparing for the UPSC exam since 2017.
Donuru Ananya Reddy, who bagged AIR 3, secured the highest rank among women in the UPSC result 2023 topper list. Reports indicate that Reddy hails from Mahbubnagar, Telangana.

How To Check UPSC Mains Result 2023
Here’s a step-by-step approach to checking the UPSC Mains Result 2023:
- The results are available on the official website upsc.gov.in .
- When you open the website, the home page displays the “Final Result - Civil Services Examination, 2023”. Click on this.
- The link will redirect you to a new window. This window displays the UPSC 2023 results. It includes the list of all the candidates who cleared the exam, along with summarized results of the exam.
- It’s a good practice to download the PDF and keep a printout for future reference.

As per UPSC 2023 results, 1,016 candidates made it to the final list, i.e. these candidates have been recommended for an appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services Group A and Group B.
