What I learnt during my internship at CogniTensor -By Suvrat Aggarwal from NMIMS Mumbai
CogniTensor has provided me with an incredible journey so far. I am proud to say, I am one of those lucky ones whose internship happened to start on time. Here is a brief experience of my internship at CogniTensor.
When I requested CogniTensor that I was available a week earlier, they were more than happy to accommodate me. I was introduced to the manager prior to my joining and work allocation was done. The on-boarding process was very smooth with the help of the HR involved. I was introduced to the project and the team well in time and with convenience. The work allocated to me is directly associated with my interest, profile, and education. They are helping me to apply my learning of 1 year of analytics in practice.
Moreover, with allocated work, CogniTensor provides more opportunities. To mention one, the CTO gave a thought to write an article on ‘A beginner’s guide to data science’. He involved all the interns to contribute to this article. It made me gather my thoughts, learnings, and pen them down. I discovered new aspects with the contributions of other interns.
A supportive and encouraging environment
The team is closely associated, easily available, approachable for seeking feedback on work, and helpful at the time of need along with consistent support. There is continuous involvement of the manager in the entire process.
Due to the current pandemic, the organisation accepted my request for extension of the internship and agreed to work till my course resumes. I personally appreciate their efforts to make such accommodations which helps the student community.
The solutions which CogniTensor is providing to the industry are closely related to my course of Business Analytics enabling me to learn real-life business problems and solutions which is a core part of my curriculum.
Having the experience of interning with four large organisations, I truly feel that an internship at CogniTensor has been able to provide me with a more warm and supportive environment. It makes me comfortable and motivates me to perform every day!
