ICICI Bank is known for its leaders across the industry and now I know why. My internship at ICICI Bank has been enriching and insightful, to say the least. Here is a brief account of my experience of the internship.

Right from the start, I was assigned mentors who devoted their precious time and shared their expertise and knowledge at every step of my internship. This goes on to show the bank’s commitment to nurturing young talent. 

Making headway with the latest technology trends

While companies were struggling to switch to a virtual program, the campus team at ICICI Bank had already adopted strategies to ensure a smooth learning experience. The entire team made sure we were equipped with valuable resources and our challenges were addressed in a timely manner. My virtual summer internship is evidence that ICICI Bank is at the forefront when it comes to technology adoption in the banking sector!

A smooth layout of the internship at ICICI

Proactive steps such as a virtual induction, video-conferencing with the senior management, and ice-breaking sessions helped me overcome my initial doubts regarding a remote-internship. ICICI Bank went one step ahead and introduced initiatives such as learning sessions with the leadership of the bank and quizzes based on our learning. This kept us engaged, connected to the team, and showcased the efforts of the team to ensure that our learning experience does not change. 

My virtual internship with the bank was in no way less than a regular on-ground internship. In-fact we even had a wrap-up party, once again showcasing the attention to detail and the bank’s commitment to ensure our experience does not change!
