100% Placement in a Single Day at XLRI | Highest Salary INR 60+ LPA

XLRI-Xavier School of Management concluded its Final Recruitment Process 2022 which saw a sharp rise in the average salary from INR 25.08 LPA in 2020, to 30.73 LPA in 2022. All 427 students in the flagship 2-Yrs PGDM courses got placed at top companies. A total of 99 recruiters participated in the placement drive, including 23 new recruiters who took part in the process for the first time. The highest offer, however, came from the domestic BFSI sector, going as high as over INR 60 Lakh per annum.

“We have great students who will take greater responsibility in India Inc as responsible leaders in the industry,” Fr. Paul Fernades, the S. J, director of XLRI - Xavier’s School of Management, said in a statement.

Key Highlights of XLRI Final Placements

The most eye-catching aspect of the XLRI placements was the number of pre-placement offers that students received. According to a statement released by the institute, 40.28% of the students received pre-placement offers. This is in lieu of the remarkable performance of the students in various internship roles.

The median salary offered to this year’s PGDM (Human Resource and Business Management) batch at XLRI stood at 30 Lakhs per annum. The top sectors hiring from the XLRI PGDM batch were Consulting, Sales & Marketing, and BFSI. The top 10th and 25th percentile average salaries at the XLRI Placements were INR 48.42 and 41.2 Lakhs per annum respectively.

Many coveted roles, such as Associate Director and Chief of Staff at Founder’s office were also offered to XLRI students.

Top Recruiters

Among the prestigious companies that made the highest number of offers were Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain and Co., PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture Strategy, ITC Limited, and PayTM. They are regular recruiters at XLRI and continued the trend of hiring from the institute.

The 23 new recruiters who joined the XLRI Recruitment Process this year also made grand offers to the students of the eminent institute. The top names among them were American Express, Freshworks, Swiggy, MoEngage Inc, and slice.
