- Established in 1993, Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development started its functioning as an institute specialized in Human Resource Development from Atur Centre in Model Colony, Pune.
- In 2006, SCMHRD came under the ambit of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and started to offer an MBA degree.
