The questions can be regarding basic knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and reasoning such as synonyms, antonyms, subject-verb agreement, modifiers, voice conversions, and critical reasoning.
Game-based Aptitude Test: These aptitude-based games assess your deductive and inductive logical thinking, planning, memory, and observation. Questions may include symmetric checks of grids, finding paths, finding the next in a sequence, etc.
Personality Psychometric: This psychometric test assesses your behavior in a professional environment. You will get a pair of statements, and you need to tell which of them you agree with more.
The candidates who qualify for the written assessment, enter the interview rounds that test their communication skills, technical knowledge as well as interpersonal skills.
Interview Rounds
There will be four rounds in the interview process.
Screening Interview
The screening interview intends to identify your background and interests. Through various interview questions, the panel/recruiter will try to understand whether you are a team player and can work in Capgemini. You will get selected for the next round if they think you are.
Technical Interview
Next is the Capgemini technical interview. Here, the interview questions aim to assess your technical skills. Then, they will ask about your previous projects and professional experience. For example, if you apply for the role of a software tester, recruiters may ask you basic coding questions to judge your coding skills.
If you're a fresher, then this round may include questions about your academic projects. You may also get questions about your interests and the latest technologies.
It's important to remember that as a fresher, you're not likely to have deep industry expertise - but you should display an avid interest in the field, a desire to learn more, and a grasp on basic skills. Additionally, while you don't need to remember the entire breadth of your subjects, you should brush up on the basics and be clear about the core concepts.
English Proficiency
Freshers usually don't have this assessment round. In this interview, you must show that you can understand and communicate properly in English. But, of course, this interview wouldn't be a problem if you had already aced the written test in English. The online test assessed your written skills; this interview will assess your verbal skills.
HR Interview
The HR interview would be the easiest among the other Capgemini recruitment process interviews. You will be asked common questions regarding your personality and future goals. The objective is to communicate well. The interviewer may ask questions about you, your intentions to apply for Capgemini, etc.
Here are some common HR interview questions that you may encounter in this round:
