Alankaar - A Hindi Tagline Competition: Stages and Timelines

Online Quiz

Round 1: Online Quiz

  • Format: 20 Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be completed in 15 minutes, testing participants’ knowledge of basic Hindi language skills, brand taglines, core marketing concepts, and overall brand awareness.
  • Date: 1st September 2025.

 

  • Rules:

1) Use of AI tools is strictly prohibited.

2) No negative marking.

3) This will be an eliminatory round.

Submission Round

Only shortlisted participants from Round 1 are eligible in Round 2.

Task: Upload a presentation on any brand of your choice, proposing a unique tagline in Hindi for its upcoming or existing campaign.

Guidelines:

Slide limit: Maximum 3 slides (excluding title & thank-you slides).
Graphics, creatives, and even short video ads may be included to support the tagline.

Content Requirements:

1) Introduction to the chosen brand and its current branding strategy.

2) Analysis of existing taglines and their impact.

3) Proposed original Hindi tagline for the upcoming campaign with clear justification.

PPT Naming Convention: "FullName-RollNo-Brand". (For ex: "RajSen-183141-Zomato")

Offline Round

Shortlisted participants will deliver a live 5-minute presentation of their tagline and campaign concept before a judging panel at FORE School of Management, New Delhi (exact venue to be shared 24 hours prior).

"अलंकार" is a Hindi brand tagline competition crafted to spark creativity and sharpen strategic thinking. Across three exciting rounds, participants will explore the art of branding and ultimately create a tagline that is not only distinctive but also truly unforgettable.

Event Objectives:

  • Inspire participants to think differently and craft impactful taglines.
  • Enhance understanding of brand identity, messaging and positioning.
  • Provide a platform for fresh ideas and bold marketing strategies.

Guidelines:

  •  All work must be original. Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
  • The use of AI tools is strictly prohibited during the quiz and presentation rounds. AI-generated taglines or content will not be accepted.
  • Presentations should be clear, concise and to the point.
  • Participants may enrich their presentations with visuals, graphics or video ads if relevant.

Rules:

  • This competition is open to all students of FORE School of Management only.
  • The judge’s decision will be final and binding.
  • Only original work will be accepted; AI usage is strictly prohibited.
  • Any external ideas, concepts or theories must be properly cited.
  • Evaluation will be based on depth of analysis, creativity, effectiveness and overall presentation quality.
  • Team Sankalp reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to adhere to the rules and guidelines.
