Brandstruck - The Marketing Case Study Competition: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Preliminary Quiz
15 Questions to be answered from the domain of sales & marketing. Note that not all the questions hold the same marks. Be selective, quick, and accurate! Top Performers will be notified and will move to the second round
Round 2: Case Study Submission
Each team has to analyse the case and develop a detailed solution in a 5-slider (excluding cover slide and references). Candidates will have to upload their submissions in the form of a PPT. Focus only on round 1 deliverables from the given case.
Round 3 : Case Presentation (Offline)
This will be a Offline round! . Presentation Mode: In person at IIT Bombay

About the Competition:
MarkTrix - The Marketing Club of SJMSOM, IIT Bombay presents "BrandStruck 2024" - The Pan India Marketing Case Competition. This flagship event offers marketing enthusiasts the chance to tackle real business challenges and showcase their marketing skills. Teams will be tasked with developing comprehensive marketing strategies, covering everything from business research to product development and brand communication. This competition encourages out-of-the-box thinking and innovative solutions.
Participants will navigate through three rounds of evaluation: a Preliminary Quiz, a Case Study Round, and a Final Presentation Round.
Rules of the Competition:
- Team Composition: Each team consists of 1-3 members, with one designated as the team leader.
- Institute Requirement: All team members must be from the same institute but do not need to be from the same year.
- Eligibility: Open to all institutes for students studying or having completed graduate level or above.
- Team Participation: A student cannot be part of more than one team.
- Quiz Participation: Only the team leader will participate in the quiz.
- Advancement: Qualifying teams will receive business case challenges in the second round, with top teams progressing to the final round. Presentations will ideally take place on campus.
Rules for Each Round:
First Round:
- Quiz Timing: The quiz can be taken at any time during the designated window. Ensure submission before the deadline.
Second Round:
- Slide Requirements: 5 slides for the solution, totaling 7 slides (including title and conclusion slides).
- Referencing: Use APA style; plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Submission Format: PPT or PDF.
- Naming Convention: TeamName_Brandstruck.
Third Round:
- Presentation Mode: In-person at IIT Bombay.
- Presentation Duration: 10 minutes for the presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q&A from the panel.

About Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), IIT Bombay
