About Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode
- Spread over about 112.5 acres of land, IIM Kozhikode is situated on two hillocks in the ancient city of Calicut in Kerala.
- Boasting of one of the most picturesque and oxy-rich campuses in the country, the world-class infrastructure includes guest care areas, air-conditioned classrooms, and LAN/WAN connectivity which enables every IIM Kozhikode resident to be exposed to a wholesome experience.
- IIMK is one of the most efficient Institutions in India, which knows how to keep balance sheet green and all the stakeholders happy.
- IIM Kozhikode started with a batch of 42 students in 1997 but has expanded remarkably over the years with a current batch of 356 odd students, making it the fastest growing management school in India.
- It also conducts various National and International Conferences, truly living up to its motto of 'Globalizing Indian Thought'. Moreover, it has also started taking Consulting Assignments, revenue from which crossed the Rs. 10 million mark in 2007.
- IIM Kozhikode is also one of the few Centres for Development of Digital Libraries in the world and is a country leader.
- It has established an Incubation Centre for Excellence, in collaboration with the Government of Kerala to help the SC/ST students overcome their deficiencies in personality, communication, etc.
