Colgate Transcend 2025 - Sales and Marketing Track: Stages and Timelines
Virtual Case Study Launch
Colgate-Palmolive will conduct a virtual launch event for Colgate Transcend and release the case study. From there, the teams will start working on their research and analysis.
Round 1: Executive Case Summary
All registered teams are required to perform their research and analysis and come up with a One-Pager PDF document presenting the team’s solution to the case study in a clear and compelling manner.
Round 2: Detailed Case Summary
Shortlisted teams will be required to submit a 2–2.5 minute video (120–150 seconds) showcasing the refined version of their proposed solution. The submission should cover the key deliverables outlined in the case brief and highlight the logical next steps to implement the idea.
Round 3: Semi Finale
Teams shortlisted from Round 2 will present to a special jury who will evaluate the performance based on the 7-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A. The top 4 teams will move to the Grand Finale.
Round 4: The Grand Finale
Winners from the earlier round will move to the Ultimate Round as Grand Finale finalists. They will present to the Leadership Team of CP India at Colgate-Palmolive Head Office, Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria: Colgate Transcend 2025 - Sales & Marketing Track is open to 1st-year students pursuing a full-time MBA program from the following B-Schools in India:
- Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, New Delhi
- Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode
- Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow
- Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad
- Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon
- Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai
- SP Jain Institute of Management (SPJIMR)
- Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD)
- Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune
- Xavier School of Management (XLRI)
Team Formation Guidelines:
- A team will consist of 3 members (students), and the one who registers the team will be the team leader.
- All members of the team should be from the same institute.
- Cross-specialization teams can participate.
- Only full-time 1st year MBA program students can participate.
- All the team members are required to verify and confirm their details to form a team.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
- Modification of team post registration will not be allowed.
- All three team members must be present during the jury evaluation; otherwise, their entry will be disqualified.
Competition Structure:
Round 0: Virtual Case Study Reveal and Q&A Session
- On 7th August, Colgate-Palmolive will conduct a virtual launch event for Colgate Transcend and release the case study. From there, the teams will start working on their research and analysis.
Round 1: The Pitch Submissions
- Following the case reveal, each team is required to perform their research, and analysis and come up with a One-Page PDF document presenting the team’s BIG Idea clearly and compellingly.
Round 2: The Plan
- This round focuses on taking the solution proposed in the qualifying round to the next level by refining it and outlining its implementation.
- Shortlisted teams are required to submit a detailed video presentation of their deliverables, 120–150 seconds in duration. Teams must further develop their solution and submit it in line with the guidelines shared in the case brief.
Round 3: The Presentation
- Teams shortlisted from Round 2 will present to a special jury who will evaluate the performance based on the 7-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A and identify the top 4 teams to move to Grand Finale.
Round 4: The Grand Finale
- Winners from the earlier round will move to the Ultimate Round as Grand Finale finalists. They will present to the Leadership Team of CP India at Colgate-Palmolive Head Office, Mumbai.
Prizes & Rewards:
- The Winners from the Grand Finale will win a grand prize of INR 5,00,000.
- The First Runner-Up Team will win a cash prize of INR 2,00,000.
- All Finalists will be shortlisted for a PPI (Pre-Placement Interviews) as part of the Summer Internship process (LEAP 2025 - Leadership Experiences and Advancement Program).
- Exciting Goodies & Colgate Gift Hampers for all Finalists.
Terms & Conditions:
- All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & final judgments will be with Colgate-Palmolive.
- The format, structure & timelines of events are subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
- If a team fails to submit an entry before the timeline, Colgate-Palmolive holds the right to disqualify the team from the competition.
- All the materials, presentations, scripts, plans, models, videos, photos, audio-visual files, exchange or sharing of confidential data etc. which may get generated & created during this competition by a participant or participants jointly with or without Colgate-Palmolive's involvement, shall at all time remain the sole and exclusive intellectual property of Colgate-Palmolive and will be considered as confidential information
- Participants must ensure complete confidentiality of the confidential information shared or generated during the competition.
- By entering into this Competition, a participant understands and consents Colgate-Palmolive to use their personal information (including presentation recording, video etc) on any social media or other platforms for the purpose of promotions, advertisements, communication, training or sharing of their experience, feedback etc. about the Colgate Transcend Program including for use for internal training purposes at all times.
- Disputes, if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only.
