CryptoRush

About the Event:

CryptoRush is a mock trading competition where participants test their trading skills in real-time cryptocurrencies without any fear of loss of money and compete with others.

Participation:

• All participants will participate individually.
• No prerequisites are required to participate.
• There is no participation fee.

Rules and Regulations:

1. Every participant will start with a balance of $50,000 when registered for the event on Roostoo.
2. The event will continue for a week, during which participants will trade their mock money for various cryptocurrencies.
3. To simulate the real environment of cryptocurrency trading, there will be a 0.25% commission trading fee for a market order, and 0.2% commission trading fee for the limit order.
4. The event is going to be held online on the Roostoo application.

Roostoo – Mock Crypto Trading can be downloaded from here (for Android) and from here (for iOS).

The participation code required in the Roostoo App will be mailed to the participants who have registered from the Amalthea website. The participants need to register through the website to be eligible for winning exciting prizes.

Judging Rules:

1. The ranking would be based on the portfolio return rates.
2. Prizes will be awarded to the participants on the basis of their ranks, which will be decided by their highest portfolio return rates. In case of a tie, ranking and prizing will be decided as deemed fair by the organizers.
3. Winners would be announced within 48 hours after the event ends, on the Amalthea website and respective social media platforms.

Prize Distribution:

• All the participants will get a certificate of participation from Amalthea, IIT Gandhinagar.
• There are cash prizes worth INR 40,000 for the top 150 participants.

Disclaimer:

1. Short selling is not supported and allowed.
2. Buying on margins is not allowed.
3. Bot assisted trading, hyper frequency, multiple accounts trading, and any illegitimate activities which suggest cheating or exploiting the systems are not allowed.
4. Users who cancel orders more than 20 times per minute may be disqualified.
5. The creation of multiple accounts by any single user to participate in the event will lead to disqualification. If the system detects that two users have conspired to place matched orders, their participation will be disqualified.
6. Roostoo has sole and final discretion of interpretation of the competition rules and rights to disqualify any users who violate the rules.
7. The organizers hold the right to make changes in the event format or structure without prior notice to the participants.
8. Participants will have to agree to Roostoo Terms and Conditions upon signing in.
9. The event does not include any buying or selling of any real cryptocurrencies with real money. The money that participants will use to trade will be mock money deposited in the virtual portfolio.

11. Roostoo allows you to mock trade with about 16 large-cap cryptocurrencies with several other well-known cryptocurrencies.
12. The leaderboard status will be updated every 5 minutes.
13. Participants can place market orders as well as limit orders.
14. Participants are encouraged to download and use the Roostoo app prior to the event to get familiar with the app.
