Hammered- The IPL Auction: Stages and Timelines
Cricket Quiz on Kahoot
Time limit of quiz would be 15 mins. The topics covered would be IPL and International Cricket. Top 6 teams will go to the next round.
IPL Auction
Selected teams would take part in the auction process which would simulate actual IPL Mega Auction.

Guidelines:
- The participants must be of the same college.
- It is a mixed tournament (boys and girls).
- Each team needs to have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 members.
- One person can be part of only one team.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams from a single college.
Round 1- Cricket Quiz
- A quiz would be conducted on the Kahoot platform
- The topics covered in the quiz would be IPL and International Cricket
- The quiz will be conducted on 28th January 2021 from 23:30 to 23:45
- 6 teams will move on to the next round based on the scores in the quiz and the name of the institution
- A maximum of 2 teams from the single college/ institute can reach the next round
Round 2- IPL Auction
- Six teams would take part in the auction process which would simulate actual IPL Mega Auction
- The event will be conducted on a Zoom Meeting where each member of the team has to be present
- Six teams will participate in IPL Mega Auction where teams will build their teams from the scratch
- A total of 120 players will go under the hammer for the auction process
- The event will be conducted between 28th January 2021 and 31st January 2021
- Timings for the event would be late evening
- The exact date and time for the second round would be conveyed latest by 28th January 2021
Note:
- Formation of the Cartel is not allowed. If any teams are caught forming cartels, would lead to disqualification
- In case of any dispute, the final decision would be of the Infusion Team
