Round 1: Executive Summary

Participants must submit an Executive Summary (maximum of 2 pages in PDF format).

Mentorship

The team selected after the first round will be given a week of mentorship to refine their ideas and strategies.

Round 2: Deck Submission

Participants should submit a comprehensive pitch deck of their business plan for this round. (Deliverables in the Details Section)

Final Round: On-Campus Pitch Event

The top teams from Submission Round will be invited to IIFT Delhi to present their Business Plans to a panel of Judges. The winning of this round will earn a spot at the National Summit of HULT.

About Us:

  • The Entrepreneurship Cell at IIFT is dedicated to instilling and nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit among students. This student-driven initiative goes beyond theoretical knowledge, providing a practical edge by immersing students in hands-on entrepreneurial experiences through:
  • Events and competitions
  • Knowledge transfer sessions
  • Alumni interactions
  • Engaging in discussions with established Entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists

About the Event:

  • Rejuvenate is E-Cell's Annual National Case Competition, organized as part of IIFT's Management and Cultural Fest, Quo Vadis.
    This year, Rejuvenate collaborates with the HULT Challenge, offering a platform to tackle and solve pressing global issues, encapsulated in the competition's theme.
  • The Hult Prize, also known as the "Nobel Prize for students," is one of the biggest social entrepreneurship challenges in the world. It operates on over 3,000 university campuses worldwide and features flagship events like the 1 Million Dollar Hult Prize.

The Challenge:

  • Participants are tasked with creating a for-profit social venture that:
  • Delivers a measurable positive impact on people and/or the planet
  • Aligns with one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Deliverables:

  • Round 1: Executive Summary
    • Submit an Executive Summary highlighting:
    • Your venture's vision
    • Problem statement
    • A high-level approach to addressing the issue
    • This will serve as the initial screening round.
  • Post Round 1:
    • Selected teams will receive one week of mentorship to refine their ideas and strategies.
  • Round 2: Comprehensive Business Plan
    • Submit a Business Plan (3-5 slides, excluding title and thank you slides) covering:
      • The problem & your vision
      • Your minimum viable product
      • Your competitive differentiation
      • Your go-to-market plan
      • Your revenue/business model
      • Financial projections (brownie points)
      • Potential to disrupt and scale (brownie points)
  • Final Round: On-Campus Pitch Event
    • Top teams from Round 2 will be invited to IIFT Delhi to present their Business Plans to a panel of judges.
  • Winners will earn a spot at the National Summit of HULT.

Guidelines & Rules:

  • Team size: 2-4 members
  • Team members must be from the same college
  • A student can participate in only one team
  • Any deviation from these guidelines will result in immediate disqualification
  • The decision of the E-Cell coordinators will be final
