Participants must provide a solution in three slides (excluding the introduction and thank you slides) covering the following:

Problem Analysis – Identify key challenges and their impact on Marcus Clothing.
Crisis Management Strategy – Outline a clear approach to address the controversy and reinforce brand values.
Communication Plan – Define how the brand will engage stakeholders and restore public trust.

Media Maestros is designed for students and young professionals eager to test their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in a competitive environment. This competition provides a real-world PR experience, allowing participants to step into the shoes of a media strategist, navigate crisis situations, and develop impactful communication campaigns.

Competition Structure:

The competition unfolds in three exciting rounds, each designed to test different aspects of PR expertise:

  • Round I – Quiz on Unstop (20th Feb)
    The first round is an online quiz hosted on Unstop, where participants will test their knowledge of PR concepts, branding, media relations, and crisis communication. A well-rounded understanding of public relations fundamentals will be key to progressing to the next round.
  • Round II – Case Submission (22nd Feb)
    Shortlisted teams will receive a PR case study that involves a real-world problem statement. Participants must analyze the case, develop a strategic communication plan, and submit their solution. This round will assess creativity, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
  • Round III – Online Presentation (23rd Feb, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM)
    Finalists will have the opportunity to present their case solutions to a panel of expert judges. This round will test their ability to articulate ideas clearly, defend their strategies, and demonstrate their understanding of media relations.
