Get charged up for Optimus 23.1: The Operations Quiz Competition

OP-ERA, the Operations Club (OP-ERA), IIM Shillong is thrilled to announce that the wait is finally over. We are again bringing to you our operations quiz competition: Optimus 23.1.

So, put on your thinking caps and test your operations knowledge base. The quiz tests your basic operations acumen instincts, global supply chain awareness, and confidence and accuracy.

Come and be a part of the event where the best brains across the country battle it out to prove their prowess.

What’s in it for you?

• The top 3 teams will win a cumulative prize money worth Rs. 10,000.
• All participating teams will be provided participation certificates, subject to completing the first-round quiz.

Details of the Rounds:

Round 1 (Bridge):

• Round 1 is a quiz round comprising questions testing candidates' acumen in general aptitude and operations.
• Only the team leader of a registered team can appear for the quiz. Other participants can join them via online conferencing.
• The quiz will be live for 90 minutes and the teams must finish the quiz within this time slot.
• The quiz will have 25 questions to be answered in 20 minutes.
• The team's performance will be evaluated based on time and accuracy.
• Date and Time: 05 Nov 2023 (09:30 PM) to 05 Nov 2023 (11:00 PM)

Round 2 (Destination):

• The best-performing teams will qualify for round 2, the final round.
• Round 2 will be a quiz round covering recent operations and supply chain developments.
• Only the team leader of a registered team can appear for the quiz.
• Other participants can join them via online conferencing.
• The quiz will be live for 90 minutes, and the teams must finish the quiz within this time slot.
• The quiz will have 25 questions to be answered in 25 minutes.
• The team's performance will be evaluated based on time and accuracy.
• Date and Time: 07 Nov 2023 (09:30 PM) to 07 Nov 2023 (11:00 PM)

Rules:

• There is no restriction on the number of teams from an Institute.
• A team can contain a minimum of 1 member and a maximum of 2 members.
• The members of a team should be from the same institute.
• Cross-year students from the same institute can form a team.
• All students pursuing graduation or post-graduation degrees in Indian universities or institutes can participate. A person cannot be part of more than one team; if a person is part of more than one team, all teams with that person will be disqualified.
• The number of teams qualifying for the second round will depend on evaluation criteria and the respective performance of the teams. All rounds will be conducted online.
• Decisions taken by OP-ERA, IIM Shillong, will be final and binding in all matters related to Optimus 23.1.
