Robotics Club, IIT Ropar in collaboration with CIM Club presents RoboCAD, a 12-hour event of invention and innovation. Automation is the core of industry 4.0 and much of this automation is in the field of robotics.

Do you have the skills to design your own robot which can add to the ongoing innovations?

Gameplay: You have to create a 3D model to solve a problem or an innovation in 12 hours and present a presentation afterwards on your idea.

Rules:

• The competition is open for college students only.
• Please submit a copy of your id cards in the registration form.
• You may enter this challenge only as a team and the number of members in the team must be between 3 to 5.
• More than one team from a single college are welcome.
• The problem statement will be given on the spot.
• The duration of the competition is 12 hours and the competition will be held online.
• You have to make a presentation at this time only and just after this you will be presenting your idea in front of judges in an online conference. 
• The participants must have their own mouse, laptops etc. with the necessary software installed (mentioned below).
• The competition will start at its scheduled time and no requests for the extra time will be entertained.
• Participants must maintain a stable internet connection as an extension of the deadline will not be entertained even if there is unstable internet in your location.
• Use of the internet or any source is allowed. 
• In case of any dispute, the decision will be taken by the organizing committee and the jury would be final and abiding.
• Judging criteria will be announced on the spot with the problem statement.

• Catia
• Abaqus
• ANSYS
