Veritas 2025 - The Flagship Event of Consult Club, IIM Calcutta:

• The Consulting Club of IIM Calcutta is excited to introduce our longest-running flagship event, Veritas in partnership with 7 Lakes Fest, IIM Calcutta.
• Young entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to step into the shoes of CXOs and solve real-life business situations.
• This prestigious event serves as a beacon for aspiring business leaders, offering a platform that melds intellect, teamwork, and creative acumen to solve the nuances of the problem.

Round 1: Case Quiz:

• Participants are put to the ultimate test with real consulting-based quiz questions.
• This quiz will consist of 30 questions to be completed in 15 minutes.
• The top 100 teams will proceed to the next round.

Round 2: Case Challenge I:

• Shortlisted teams will dive into the first case study from a specific industry/sector. They will be required to analyze, structure, and propose insights.
• This will be a 2 slider presentation solution submission (1 slide of appendix allowed).
• Further details and criteria for evaluation will be made known in due course.
• The top 20 teams will proceed to the final round.

Round 3: Case Challenge II:

• Teams selected for this round will encounter a creative twist with a surprise element, this round focuses on design, storytelling, and insight clarity.
• The selected teams are to submit a visuals first slide recommending solutions to the case.
• Format: 2 slider plus 1 slide appendix presentation submission by the top 20 teams.
• A detailed case along with format references will be made live.

Round 4: Final Presentation (Virtual):

• The final round will be a detailed online case presentation.
• The top 10 teams will battle it out to showcase the brilliance of their solutions to an elite panel of judges.
• The presentation will be 10 minutes followed by a Q&A session of 5 minutes.

Rules:

• Registration is allowed in teams of 2-3 members.
• Registration is open for all undergraduate and postgraduate students from all domains.
• A person can be associated only with a single team.
• Multiple registrations by a particular team or person shall lead to disqualification.
• In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the organizing team shall be binding.
• Cross-year and cross-college teams are allowed.

Terms and Conditions:

• All decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will rest with the organizing committee comprising the Consult Club of IIM Calcutta.
• The format, structure, and schedule of the events may be modified prior to the commencement of the competition at the discretion of the organizers.
• The decisions of the organizers shall be final and binding on all participants.
