Welcome to the Delhi Zonals of National Social Summit MUN Event!!
Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations and other international organizations. It aims to provide students with a platform to discuss and debate various global issues and their potential solutions. The event will be held at Delhi Technical University. This rulebook outlines the essential regulations and protocols. By understanding and adhering to these rules, you ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Dress Code:
- All participants must dress in formal attire during the event.
Code of Conduct:
All Participants must follow the code of conduct during the event. The code of conduct includes,
- Respecting other participants and their opinions
- Using appropriate language
- Refrain from disrupting proceedings
- The chair will inform all the necessary details regarding the proceedings of the MUN on the spot.
- Important note: The organizing team reserves the right to change or modify any rules. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

About Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee
- The University of Roorkee, now IIT Roorkee, was established as the Thomason College of Engineering in the year 1847, and was converted to the First Technical University of India in the year 1949.
- On September 21, 2001, an Ordinance issued by the Government of India declared it as the nation's 7th Indian Institute of Technology.
- IIT Roorkee is situated at the foothill of Himalayas, in Hardwar district, within the state of Uttarakhand.
- The Institute has 2 campuses. The main campus is at Roorkee, Uttarakhand and the other one is 50 km away at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The campus at Roorkee is spread over 356 acres of landscaped lush greenery while the campus at Saharanpur spans over 25 acres.
