All that you need to know about 3D Render Challenge
Creative Task to Design 3D Visuals:
Team Size:1-3
Rounds: 2 (Eliminator - Online , Finals - Online)

Eliminator Rules:
- Submit any previous work of yours before 15th Feb.
- Participants will be shortlisted for the Final Rounds and template file will be shared to them.
General Rules for finals:
- A starting template file will be provided to make your scene. You must only use the file provided; any other animation will be canceled.
- You are not allowed to change the camera settings or animation.
- You can change the character’s animation, but it should be almost identical to the original animation provided.
- You must not remove the provided objects in your scene. However, you can modify them as per your wish.
- All submissions must be original, created by the participant, and must not have been previously published or entered into another competition.
- You can use any 3D software of your choice. However, we recommend the following: [Blender, Cinema 4d, Unreal Engine, ZBrush, Houdini, Maya, 3ds Max].
- All models and scenes must be created using standard 3D software, and external asset packs are allowed (kitbash, polyhaven, etc.). However, more emphasis will be placed on originality and creativity.
- Participants must submit at least three progress screenshots showing the evolution of their work.
- Participants must provide the source for any external assets used in their scene.
- Submissions must include all the files you have used (.blend, .c4d, etc.) and must be accompanied by at least one high-resolution render of the final animation.
- Participants may use any rendering software of their choice. Render a 1920x1080 (16:9) resolution animation.
- Sound design is highly encouraged.
- No on-screen titles. Your render won't be accepted.
- Your final submission must be an MP4 video file rendered in an H.264 or H.265 codec. Any other codec runs the risk of not being seen.
- Your render must be 30fps. Not 29.97, not 24. Exactly 30fps.
- Submissions must be made by the deadline specified in the challenge announcement. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Participants must provide a brief description of their submission, including the software used and any special techniques or features used to create the model or scene.
- Participants may submit up to two entries per challenge.
- Any form of plagiarism, copying, or stealing other people's work will result in disqualification.
- Have fun and be respectful to other community members.
- Research and gather reference images, videos, or other material to help you with your work.
- Try to be creative and experiment with different techniques and styles.

- Participants agree to abide by all rules and regulations by entering this challenge. The judges' decisions are final.
General Guidelines:
- There is no registration fee for any round.
- All entries should be original work. Plagiarism of any kind is not allowed, and the participant will be immediately disqualified if found.
- All participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes professionalism, ethical behavior, and respect for fellow participants.

About Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore
- Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IITI), established by the Government of India in 2009, is located in Madhya Pradesh.
- It is one of the new eight IITs, started by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
- The temporary campus of IITI was established in the Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilyabai University under the mentorship of IIT Bombay.
- The foundation of the permanent campus was laid down by Shri Arjun Singh, the Union HRD Minister.
- Since February 2016, IIT Indore is doing its functioning from their permanent campus.
