Haute Couture: Fashion Show

"Express yourself, Gleam and Glow, Turn Heads, and Steal the Show."

Taboo is something we don't talk about, right? But why? It is due to the fact that such behavior is considered too sacred or too dangerous and accursed for ordinary individuals to undertake. This Unmaad "Unfetter the mind with prejudice". Break the taboo!! For a change, show us what's going inside than what's happening around us. Challenge the existing, and make heads turn. Encaptivate and enthrall us with your fabulous sense of fashion!

Theme: Breaking the Stereotypes/ Taboo

Team Size: 5-12

Rules and Regulations:

• This is a team event, open to all colleges and corporates.
• 1 model is not allowed to present more than 1 outfit.
• The maximum number of team members should be 12 including stylists, makeup artists, and designers.
• There can be multiple teams from a single college.
• Time Limit - 1 to 5 minutes
• There will be a penalty for failing to adhere to the given time limit.
• Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification of the team from the event. Hence, if the team feels that any stunt/ costume design can be considered obscene, it is strongly advised to consult the organizers before recording.
• The organizers' decision will be final in case of any disputes arising due to the same.
• For the video, any use of animations is not allowed. Simple transition effects and background music/ narration can be used.
• Organizers hold the right to change/ modify rules on the day of the event. Participants shall be informed in advance of any changes in rules and regulations specific to the event.
• The decision of the judges will be considered final and binding in case of any conflict.

Submission Round:

• Submission 1:
  • This will be your Video Link submission.
  • The team needs to upload their video onto Google Drive and share an open-access link to the same.
  • This video should be of the .mp4 extension and follow the naming convention: "<Team Name> - HC1"
• Submission 2
  • This will be a .pdf file submission.
  • The file will comprise of one picture of each model in the outfit (this will serve as a catalog for the team) and one single writeup (less than 400 words) explaining how your performance relates to the theme. "<Team Name> - HC2"

Judging Criteria:

• Interpretation and the clarity of the theme as conveyed by both the video and the accompanying writeup
• Fit every costume into the given theme
• Creativity and originality of the designs
• Overall presentation
• Walk by the models and coordination of the models
