Melodic Harmony - Group Singing: Stages and Timelines
Submission through Unstop
This competition will be conducted in a single online round. Participants are required to submit a video recording of their performance as per the event guidelines within the stipulated deadline through Unstop. All submissions will be evaluated by the judging panel, and the final results will be announced on 28th February. No live or subsequent rounds will be conducted.

Eligibility & Registration:
- The competition is open to student teams from recognized educational institutions.
- Each team must consist of 2 to 8 members.
- Registration must be completed within the stipulated deadline. Late or incomplete registrations will not be accepted.
- The decision of the Organising Committee regarding eligibility shall be final and binding.
Performance Format & Video Submission:
- This is a video-based online competition. No live stage performance will be conducted.
- Teams must submit one continuous video recording of their performance.
- The performance must be recorded in a single take. Cuts, transitions, dubbing, or visual editing that alters performance authenticity are not permitted.
- All performing members must be clearly visible in the video.
- The video must reflect a live group performance and not individually recorded clips stitched together.
Time Limit:
- Performance duration must be between 6 to 8 minutes.
- Videos exceeding the prescribed time limit may attract penalty marks or may not be evaluated.
Genre & Content Guidelines:
- Teams may perform songs in Bollywood, Western, Indian Classical, or Fusion styles.
- The choice of song must be appropriate for a formal inter-college cultural platform.
- Vulgar, obscene, politically provocative, or religiously sensitive content is strictly prohibited.
- The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject any entry that violates decorum.
Music & Accompaniment Rules:
- Karaoke tracks are permitted provided they do not contain lead vocals.
- Live instrumental accompaniment is allowed.
- Use of auto-tune, pitch correction software, multi-track mixing, voice layering, or audio enhancement tools is strictly prohibited.
- Lip-syncing to a pre-recorded track is not allowed.
Audio & Technical Quality Requirements:
- The audio must be clear and balanced, with minimal background noise.
- Proper lighting and stable camera placement are recommended.
- All singers must be audible throughout the performance.
Judging Criteria:
- Harmony & Voice Blending - 25 points
- Pitch Accuracy & Control - 20 points
- Coordination & Group Synchrony - 15 points
- Song Arrangement & Creativity - 20 points
- Overall Performance & Impact - 20 points
Technical Submission Guidelines:
- Videos must be submitted in MP4 format.
- Landscape orientation is preferred.
- File name format: CollegeName_TeamName_GroupSinging
- Submission must be made before the official deadline. Late entries will not be evaluated.
Code of Conduct:
- Participants must maintain respectful presentation, appropriate attire, and professional behaviour.
Media Rights:

Submitted videos may be recorded, archived, and used for promotional purposes without monetary claim.
