Round 1: Prelims & Shortlisting
This will be a submission round! You will see the “Submit” button here, once the round is live.
Round 2 : Final Round
Shortlisted candidates will have to perform at IIM Shillong Campus, where they will be judged based on their performance by an esteemed panel.

About the event:
Standup Comedy is an event that involves performing comedy in front of a live audience. This will be a 2-round event. In the first round, we will invite entries from all the participants and shortlist the best 6 from them for the next and final round. In the final round, the shortlisted 6 participants will be performing live during the event.
Round 1: Prelims & Shortlisting
- Registration Dates: 30th January 2023 - 9th February 2023
- Round 1 submission deadline: 9th February 2023
- Round 1 Result: 12th February 2023
- Submission Details: Video in MP4 format
- It is an individual event
- Theme: Life of an MBA student
- Submission naming convention EventName_ParticipantName, for example: StandUpComedy_TanviModi.
- The video should be shot and edited in portrait mode only. The participant should be clearly visible in the video at all times.
- The language should be either English or Hindi. Judgment Criteria for both languages will have equal weightage .
- Only one entry per participant is allowed.
- Usage of slang or any coarse phrases is strictly forbidden and will lead to disqualification if the said rule is not followed.
- The video shouldn't exceed 10 minutes.
- Prop usage isn't allowed.
- Plagiarism will lead to direct disqualification.
- Participants will be judged on the basis of content, message, expressions, and delivery.
- Top entries will be shortlisted for the final round, which will be a live round.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Round 2: Finals
- This round will be conducted online.
- Winners will be announced by the judges on the day of the event itself.
- The shortlisted participants will be sent a theme over email once R1 results are declared.
- Usage of slang or any coarse phrases is strictly forbidden and will lead to disqualification if the said rule is not followed..
- Plagiarism will lead to direct disqualification.
- Participants will be judged on the basis of content, message, expressions, and delivery.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
- Time limit will be 10 minutes for each performance.
- Any deviation from the mentioned rules will lead to a negative marking
