TradePulse: Stages and Timelines
Online Webinar Session
Sessions will be conducted on Algorithmic Trading and how the AlgoBulls platform works. The exact details of how the contest will proceed will also be discussed.
This is the time to showcase your quantitative finance skills. This is an online round and will be held on the AlgoBulls platform. Participants have to create a strategy with a virtual fund and generate maximum ROI. They have the leisure to create any strategy, equity, or options, and by following the competition rules, they have to generate maximum ROI.
Offline Presentation Round
The best teams of the online round will be called offline at IIT- BHU, Varanasi for the final presentations. The created strategies will be evaluated on various factors by the AlgoBulls team and the winners will be announced.

Enter into the dynamic realm of quantitative finance, where algorithmic enthusiasts will unleash their trading strategies.
AlgoBulls, in collaboration with Technex IIT BHU, brings you TradePulse, an algorithmic trading event in which participants from all over India will compete in a 9-day-long competition, trying to build trading strategies on the AlgoBulls platform. The top teams will be invited offline at IIT BHU to present their strategies to judges.

Guidelines:
- All students from authorized institutions and programs are eligible to participate
- Participants can join the competition solo or in a team of a maximum of 3 members
- Round 1 is in online mode, and Round 2 is in offline mode
- Students qualifying for the offline round must carry their valid School/College ID cards
Rules:
- The team members can belong to different colleges or universities
- No changes in the team structure would be allowed after registration
- The qualifying teams will be required to come to IIT-BHU Varanasi for further rounds
- If any team is found using unfair means, they will be immediately disqualified from the competition
- The Decision of the Judges and Category/Event Head will be final

First Runner Up
The first-runner up will receive a 4-months AlgoBulls subscription worth ₹ 33,200 + Prizes worth ₹ 15,000.
Second Runner Up
The second-runner up will receive a 2-months AlgoBulls subscription worth ₹ 16600 + Prizes worth ₹ 10,000.
About Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT - BHU)
- The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi is situated on the campus of Banaras Hindu University spread over nearly 1300 acres at the southern end of the ancient city of Varanasi on the banks of the holy river Ganga.
- The Banaras Hindu University was established by Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Ji in the year 1916.
- This Banaras Hindu University has teaching and research facilities in over 135 diverse disciplines including ancient history, oriental learning, performing and fine arts, management, science, social sciences, etc.
- Later on, BHU started engineering education by being the first in the country to start degree courses in mining, metallurgy, ceramic engineering and pharmaceutics with the establishment of the College of Mining and Metallurgy and the College of Technology in the year 1923 and 1932 respectively.
- In 1969, the above three colleges were amalgamated to form the Institute of Technology.
- On 29th June 2012, the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU), got converted into Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi by the Government of India, New Delhi.
