IIT BHU Joins The INR 2 Crore Club; 1155 Offers Made With The Highest CTC Of INR 2.05 Crore

IIT BHU stunned everyone in the chain when the highest offer of INR 2.05 crore was made to a student. A total of 35 students bagged the international offers with the highest international offer by Uber.

Despite the pandemic, the recruiters have asserted their faith in the students of IIT BHU. This can be concluded from the fact that the placement rate has increased significantly compared to the last year. During the 2019-2020 placement, only 219 companies participated in the placement drive and offered a total of 706 jobs in the first 10 days of the placement. However, in the placement session 2021, IIT BHU has witnessed the participation of 309 companies and 1155 offers in the first 10 days of the drive.

Major highlights of IIT BHU placements 2021

Prominent recruiters

The list of prominent recruiters at IIT-BHU placements 2021 included big names like:

• Indeed
• Zeta
• Microsoft SWE
• Oracle
• MindTickle
• Plutus SDE
• Graviton SDE 
• Uber
• Goldman Sachs
• Google (among others)

Of the 35 international offers, Rakuten offered roles to 33 students. Whereas, Uber and Weathernews rolled out international offers to 1 student each.

This is undoubtedly the biggest satisfaction for the faculty and the students in the pandemic times. Kudos to the entire family of IIT BHU!

IIT placement trends 2021

IITs are setting historic benchmarks in this placement season. Almost one week into the placements, IITs have set the trend for a higher number of jobs and better pay scales compared to the previous placement session. Most of the IITs have already wrapped their first phase of placements within the first week itself!
