Google is hiring for the role of Software Engineering Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Research, create, and develop software applications to improve Google's product offerings.
- Contribute to projects involving NLP, AI, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies.
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving large-scale data and information systems.
- Support and work with cross-functional teams in an innovative and productive environment.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- In your penultimate year of study.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, Go).
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience or interest in areas such as mobile development, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, networking, security, or large-scale software systems.
- Ability to showcase personal or academic tech projects and participation in CS-related extracurriculars.
