Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of Buyer - Electrical, Electronics and Proprietary Parts!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Monitor & ensure smooth supplies for production requirements.
  • Act as point of contact between MSIL Suppliers and OEM Team for all issues.
  • Ensure readiness of Tier-2 suppliers.
  • Prepare logistics & Production plans for suppliers.
  • Assist in cost reduction activities Project Schedule Monitoring, MIS reporting activities, budget making, vendor capacity assessment, and planning, etc.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, and Proprietary Parts.
  • Knowledge about Upcoming New Technologies & Features.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools are required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, critical-thinking, and presentation skills.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time.
  • Ability to communicate well with Suppliers and Internal/External Customers.

  • Skill Development: this program by Maruti Suzuki focuses on the enhancement of Government ITIs, skill enhancement in automobile trade, and establishment of Japan India Institute for Manufacturing to create a pool of skilled manpower for manufacturing in India.
  • Community Development: various sectors of community development, such as education, water and sanitation, health care, and rural development are addressed by improving the infrastructure and learning conditions in government schools across the country, and educate people about the importance of hygiene through street plays and the distribution of communication literature. Maruti Suzuki has also upgraded shared community facilities such as parks, cremation grounds, playgrounds, and community halls, in the villages around its Manesar facility, and donated four EECO Ambulances to the Civil Hospital in Gurgaon.
  • #PehniKya: this pan-India social campaign by Maruti Suzuki was launched by the company to create awareness about the benefits of wearing a seat belt, attack misconceptions and negative attitudes around seat belts and influence people to assure seat belt usage at all times in the car.   • Road Safety: the company established Institutes of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTRs) to train passenger and commercial vehicle drivers with the help of world-class training infrastructure and qualified trainers and Maruti Driving Schools (MDSs) to nourish a secured driving experience through distinctive theoretical sessions, driving classes, and test tracks on the road.
