Deloitte is hiring for the role of Consultant- Analytics(Finance)!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Querying and analyzing small and large data sets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights
- Creating, managing, and utilizing structured and unstructured data stores
- Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
- Understand current state of finance allocations, identify the cost drivers and determ how cost and profit allocations are being done across different business units and product lines,
- Identify gaps in current state, rationalize and design future state for finance allocations
- Creating models for allocation of cost and profitability using tools and technologies like SAP PaPM and/or cost perform
- Leading client workshops for requirements gathering and gathering functional requirements in user stories that convey what is required to be built
- Developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation
- Build workflows to automate finance processes and make them more efficient by leveraging emerging automation or machine learning tools like Alteryx
- Lead design workshops with client and the project delivery from USI and guide other professionals in the team
Requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for innovation and use of analytics tools and technologies (e.g. SAS, SQL, VBA, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBi, Alteryx, Dataiku, Savant, KNIME/Talend, dbt) to solve business issues
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology/ CAs / CPAs with mandatory technology
- (ERP, SQL, Visualization tools) knowledge and experience
- Project experience in areas such as root cause/gap analysis/best fit, requirements gathering / definition development, financial modeling and value mapping
- Understanding of agile methodology along with experience in sprints
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, team building, teaming and presentation experience
- Prior experience working with and managing data sets, including extraction and merges from source systems, transformation, and providing preliminary descriptive analytics
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple
- projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
