KPMG is hiring for the role of Digital Trust Cyber Defense Analyst!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in software, applications, and infrastructure to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, analyze APTs and malware, and incorporate findings into security assessments.
- Document security testing processes, communicate findings to stakeholders, and collaborate on vulnerability remediation.
- Train and educate team members on the latest cybersecurity techniques and procedures to enhance the firm's overall skills.
- Write proposals, manage client relationships, and lead large-scale cybersecurity programs for commercial success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or equivalent is required.
- Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies, OWASP vulnerabilities, and various security technologies.
- Familiarity with tools like Burpsuite, Metasploit, and Kali Linux, and experience in VAPT, SAST, DAST, and secure code review.
- Understanding of AWS and Azure cloud security aspects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings, collaborate with stakeholders and deliver training sessions.
- Ability to identify business opportunities, manage client relationships, and lead large cybersecurity projects effectively.

Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Love Agency: a Sydney, Australia-based UX, web, and mobile app technology firm, Love Agency was acquired by KPMG as a step to expand its UX and UI solutions in its digital business. Acquisition’s announcement was made on 14th May 2019.
- Ferrier Hodgson: insolvency and strategic consultancy firm, Ferrier Hodgson was acquired by KPMG as a response to profound changes in the business landscape. This acquisition also brought a strong forensic accountancy and investigation team to KPMG, bolstering its services.
- Recommender Labs: a Mumbai based artificial intelligence (AI)-led decision-science Services Company, Recommender Labs was acquired by KPMG with the motive to combine its own capabilities with those of Recommender Labs to develop distinct assets, facilitate swift go-to-market, and build the capacity to return with fine AI-led offerings.
- Conogy: headquartered in Berlin, an SAP consultancy firm, Conogy was acquired by KPMG in August 2018 with the motive to gain benefits from Conogy’s focus on SAP S4 / HANA Analytics and Data Science.
