Deloitte is hiring for the role of Financial Advisory-Transaction Services- Financial Due Diligence-Deputy Manager!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Developing an understanding of the target business and its drivers
- Assessing data accuracy and reasonableness and following directly with clients and third parties appropriately to achieve necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies
- Performing financial analysis on data provided and arriving at conclusions/identifying issues
- Interpreting, evaluating, and analysing publicly available information on the target business preparation of quality deliverables (including Excel and PowerPoint documents) within agreed timescales, briefing the manager/deputy manager accordingly
- Identifying key issues in the areas worked on and reporting them to the manager/supervisor on a timely basis
- Working on a variety of deals ranging from large cross-border transactions across various industry verticals establishing credibility with clients/targets as a representative of Deloitte Transaction Services
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (qualified in first or second attempt preferred) with a good academic background and 2-4 years of relevant post-qualification work experience
- Transaction experience/exposure would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the Indian GAAP, knowledge of IFRS would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using MS Excel to process and analyze large volumes of data
- Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
